Working on Robomeks: 04 – Color (Part 2 of 2)
And here’s part two of the coloring process. Here I work on the effects, background coloring, lettering and translation, using Photoshop CS3.
Y aquí está la parte dos del proceso de coloreado. Aquí trabajo en los efectos, coloreado de fondos, rotulación y traducción, usando Photoshop CS3.
Click the HQ icon in the player (after you’ve clicked the Play button) to watch it in colossal size and resolution.
Cliquea el icono HQ en el reproductor (tras haber cliqueado en el botón de Reproducir) para verlo en un tamaño y resolución colosal.
As you see, the kinetics are easy solved with a lasso selection if you do them in color. The translation to Spanish (my mother language) is done on the fly, in a group cloned from the English texts. Spanish use to need a bit more space, so the balloons must be properly adjusted to their size.
Como puedes ver, la líneas cinéticas se resuelven fácilmente con una selección de lazo si las haces en color. La traducción al español (mi lengua materna) se hace al vuelo, en un grupo clonado de los textos en inglés. El español suele necesitar algo más de espacio, así que los bocadillos son adecuadamente ajustados a su tamaño.
This could very well be the final installment of this video series but, for completion sake, I chose to also show the publishing aspect. You can imagine the next video will be very short compared to the previous ones.
Esta bien podría ser la entrega final de esta serie de videos pero, en pos del completismo, elegí también mostrar el aspecto de publicación. Puedes imaginar que el siguiente video será muy corto comparado con los anteriores.
