Catolate Transition
From next Monday on (April 26th) the actual robomeks.com URL will be replaced by catolate.com
The actual robomeks.com address will still direct you to the home page but most of the links (like the links to comic pages, etc) won’t work anymore. This isn’t only caused by the change of domain, but some radical changes in how the site works internally.
So, start to memorize this new URL: catolate.com
The week delay is here to be sure the news about this change reach as most readers as possible. Once the transition is over the updates for Robomeks will start to warm up, along with a couple important news.
Sorry for all the inconveniences. See you in catolate.com
PS: This message hasn’t been written under the influence of toxoplasmosis. Really. Cats are lovely and totally non-evil. Really. This merge is totally positive for Robomeks and absolutely non-fictional… Really.

Bug report: catolate.com seems to be redirecting to itself.
The xlanguage plugin was creating a redirect loop. I deactivated that option for now, and I’m planning to deactivate that plugin totally for the next version anyway. Thanks for the heads up, Kyle.
May we inquire as to the reason for the change?
Indeed you can. Let’s say some, erm, circumstances have required a change for a bigger home. The old (actual) address will still direct you to the boys workshop, though.
In any case, I can advance that Robomeks itself (the series) won’t be affected in any detrimental way and will be published as planned, if that’s a concern of yours.
My concern was that I did not understand why you were changing domain names, away from the name of the comic. I’ve seen at least one webcomic I was reading change in the other direction, but not in this one. Unless there’s a technical or administrative issue with an ISP or registrar, it seems an unnecessary source of confusion for your readers.
As you may be aware by now there’s going to be another webcomic project hosted in this site very shortly. That’s the reason for the change.
I want this site to be the place where all my comic projects are hosted, not only Robomeks. Having the old robomeks domain point to this new webcomic (or any other that I decide to publish here) was even more confusing. The alternative of having two separate blogs with different domain names for each project was just something I didn’t even consider, as the amount of work and maintenance involved would simply be impossible to handle.
And remember that robomeks.com hasn’t been dropped. That domain still directs you to this site, and will keep doing that from now on.
