Well, looks like they were just fast enough for a partial reclosure. Good enough, backsides tanned through clothing while you wait.
Nice name, been too long so I don’t recall if we’ve heard it mentioned before. And Ace says something profound. Guess near-death experiences have a way of shaking stuff loose.
Fire good, apparently.
It was mentioned before, not in this part, though. Her father uses her name instead of her nick, as seen in chapter 3. But this is the first time Ace/Alberto uses her real name in the story so far.
And yep, fire good, and near death experiences just piss him off. This particular chain of events will have some repercussions, as we’ll get to see in the following final pages.
