Part 01 – Page 86 | Parte 01 – Página 86
Drama!
By the way, after trying everything I could to make my new Bamboo tablet work I’ve finally go back to my 10 years old Intuos, with its amazing pen with an invisible nib. Hopefully the new tablet will be fixed soon. Having to repeat the same stroke three times to get the “right” part of the flat nib is just nerve breaking.
See you next Friday, when a new page will be published.

¡Drama!

The “losers” comment was a little harsh, but I’m with her. That lunatic has caused way too much damage. To hell with getting paid, somebody needs to stop that nutjob.
She has a point, that’s for sure. But so has he. It’s a tricky situation.
Late response on this one, hopefully before send to print or whatever publishment was talked about before. Ace’s dialog, panel 5. “Or the one where we chase a guy and almost die on the way?” “in the process?” “almost get cooked?”
Also I’m curious. Is there a reason why a new pen for the Intuos cannot be had? I think they sell replacement nibs and the like, unless Wacom’s pen technology is completely different now.
Ok, “process” is the winner. I want him to explicitly use the to die verb there. Thanks!
Also, while we’re indeed in the final pages of this part there’s still a while until it’s finished (more than a dozen pages as I write this). I won’t start the preparation for print until the very end of this part.
And, we’re talking about the first generation of this tablet (Intuous 4 being the latest) and more than 10 years in the middle. Before buying the new Bamboo tablet (which is in fact a downgrade but only costs 75€, instead of the several hundreds of a new Intuos) I tried to find replacement nibs for the pen. It turned out that it didn’t seem to be compatible and it wasn’t even being listed in Wacom’s eStore as a supported tablet anymore (my model being GD-0608-U). Having now both pens, the nib of the Bamboo seems to be thinner than the Intuos “1″ one. Not much, but enough. Anyway, I asked Wacom about this and I’m waiting their response, but I’m afraid it will be a negative one. Fortunately, I got my replacement pen for the Bamboo yesterday and so far it works flawlessly.
Okay good. I think this was the only past one that was bothering me that I hadn’t noted.
As for tablets… \o/
