I’m loving your vehicle designs, the pink and gold 4-wheeled scooter is awesome. Almost too bad they’re so small.

TBH I feel both proud and guilty for that chick scooter. I had lots of fun drawing it, but it’s definitely too comical for that page. Anyway, the blur effect kind of hides it.

It’s awesome. It looks like a perfectly normal vehicle if you consider the Smart car, the new Fiat 500′s, the Piagio 3 wheeled scooter and those BMW roofed bikes we have riding around right now.
Edit to add: I looked at the line drawing to check it out because it was so blurred in the final version…
Heh, yep, some new designs really seem to want to go the chick route. Anyway, if there was a real life reference for that design it was those guys you can see in most big cities riding the most ridiculous vehicles, from 70′s bikes to Segways. They all invariably try to look cool and cosmopolitan. I’m not sure if they achieve that, but it always makes me smile
I love your effects…they’re so simple, but they fit perfectly within your strip and make your comic that much more immersive. Keep up the great work you have going on here.
Thanks! They definitely help to enhance the cinematographic feeling and allow me to introduce some depth in what otherwise would be quite a flat panel..
