Sorry for the lack of updates. Unfortunately, a mix of technical and personal issues has put this whole Catolate thing in bullet time for now (ok, ok, frozen time would be more accurate).

I still plan to keep the site up as long as I can and finish both Robomeks and Cracks. Hopefully, I’m not in denial.

Thanks to those of you who (to my surprise) still check this site from time to time. You guys rock. Hopefully, I’ll rock back again in a not so distant future.

Just a random sketch of Nicole “Witty” Shape. I was just doodling before starting the page and that came out. I guess that’s how she’d look if I ever was to draw her closer to the Cracks Style.

Thanks for keep reading Robomeks (and maybe Cracks too) after all this time.

Those above are the top ten countries where people have been visiting this site from for the last month. That also means that my core readership is probably among those living there, as I haven’t been advertising this site anymore since October’s relaunch (or continuation, or whatever).

It’s also probable that you’ve been around here since the beginning but your country wasn’t listed there. Thank you very much in any case. You’re also one of the reasons I keep doing all this.

That’s all. I just wanted to let you know (those about couple hundreds of you) that I appreciate your trust and support on my work all this time. I really do.

And also thanks to the other several hundreds that lost track of this site (probably after the hiatus), or simply lost interest on the series. I hope it was fun while you were around.

And, don’t worry, this isn’t a goodbye post. Just take it as my late Thanksgiving one.

Another test with the Cracks characters, this time closer to the look I always envisioned them once they’re hands on with their killing thing. Again, Pox is buffed for reasons you’ll discover later in the story (if we ever reach that point). And he has that angry tough guy look mostly for all this testing thing. His personality will remain (mostly) the same.

And below you can see how it was going to be before this whole inking/revision thing:

That was in fact going to be a future wallpaper I created months ago. But with the change of art style and all the rest it’s now outdated. Not to mention that I still have to rework the wallpaper thing (and the rest of the store).

I guess that you’d be more interested in seen the monsters instead of all this but the point is that it’d ruin the surprise, as I think s0me of them are quite weird and original. But, that said, if you really want to have a peek just let me know and I’ll post something. Oh, and BTW, the monster that appeared in the Halloween drawing wasn’t one of them. It was just something I came up with while drawing that.

And I also guess I don’t have to tell you at this point to click those images to enlarge them if you like, but I’ll do it again just for the heck of it.

The Cracks main characters (Buckshot and Pox), one year after the events that are about to happen.

It’s quite sketchy, as you see, but I wanted to test what could be achieved if I’d went for a more mainstream, kind of WAAAGH! look instead of my usual cute & simple character designs. And I don’t dislike it too much, even when it’s crying male teens fodder!. Meaning that if you’re a girl chances are you won’t like them. But, well, Cracks wasn’t supposed to be as unisex as Robomeks in the first place.

Anyway, their arsenal isn’t changed from what is planned (Ithaca and pistol for her, PKM and big knife for him) but the rest of their gear is. Buckshot is all in biker leather and Pox wears a mix of hockey armor and dog bite protection. He’s also more buffed. The kid is still growing.
