How the Store works

Catolate has now a new store area where you can buy several products related to the comic series published here. If you’ve never bought online or are simply curious about how the store works keep reading.

Quick Guide

  1. Click the “Add to cart” button of the product(s) you want to purchase
  2. If you have a coupon: Write the coupon code and click the “Apply” button
  3. Click the “Checkout with Paypal” button in the cart to proceed to payment in the Paypal site
  4. Once the payment has been processed, click the “Go back to the Store” yellow button to go back here
  5. Click the links displayed on the page to download the product(s) immediately, or wait for the email you’ll receive with those same links

Selecting a product

The products are displayed in several ways:

  • While reading a comic you’ll see in the left sidebar below a list of the products related to that particular comic page. If there’s no products related to it nothing will be displayed.
  • Directly from the store, where you can browse through all the products available in each category.

Adding a product to your cart

To purchase something you must first click the “Add to cart” button found below the product description. That will reload the page and display your shopping cart in the left sidebar, where you’ll see the product you selected listed there now.

If you want to purchase more than one unit of that particular product you can do so by writting the desired amount in the “Quantity” (Qty) text field. You can also remove that particular product by clicking the “Remove Item” icon besides it (it’s displayed as a minus sign). To empty your cart simply click on the “Empty Cart” icon (displayed as a cart with a red X over it).

The shopping cart is always displayed in the left sidebar, as long as there’s products inside it.

Applying a coupon

Coupons are text codes that apply special discounts to your cart. To use them all you need to do is to write the code of a coupon in the “Enter Coupon Code” text field below the shopping cart, and then click the “Apply” button below it. If you’ve done it correctly you’ll see the discount applied to the total price of your cart after the page reloads.

IMPORTANT: Always apply the coupon when you’re about to pay, not before. If you modify the contents of your cart after applying a coupon your cart will automatically be emptied. Also, only one coupon can be applied to a cart at a given time.

Payment

Once you’re happy with the contents of your cart you can pay clicking the yellow “Checkout with Paypal” button below it. You’ll then be redirected to PayPal (what is PayPal?), which will take care of the payment process, and where you’ll be able to pay using a Credit Card or your PayPal account.

After the payment is processed click the “Go back to the Store” yellow button and you’ll be redirected back to this site, to a page where you can download the product instantly. You will also receive an email with the product download link shortly.
